Returns & Refunds Policy
At Laughing Dog, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Whether you bought an item online or in person at our Brighton Marina shop, here is everything you need to know if you change your mind.
1. Return Window
You have 28 days from the date of purchase (or the date you received your online order) to return an item for a refund or exchange.
2. Condition of Items
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

Unused and in the same condition that you received it.

In its original packaging (with tags still attached, where applicable).

Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.
3. Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned:

Perishables: Any food or drink items purchased from our café.

Hygiene-sensitive items: Earrings or grooming products (unless faulty).

Custom Orders: Art prints that have been custom-framed or commissioned specifically for you.

Gift Cards: These are non-refundable.
4. How to Make a Return
In-Person (Brighton Marina Shop): The quickest way to return an item is to bring it back to our shop. Please bring your receipt or your online order confirmation email.
By Mail (Online Orders): If you ordered online and would like to post your item back to us, please follow these steps:

Email us at brighton@ldbrighton.com with your order number and the reason for the return.

Securely package the item to prevent damage during transit.

Mail your return to: Returns: Laughing Dog, Unit 31, The Village, Brighton Marina, Brighton, BN2 5WA.
Please note: Unless the item is faulty, you are responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
5. Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund.

Store Purchases: Refunds will be issued immediately to your original payment method.

Online Purchases: We will notify you via email once your refund is processed. The credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5–10 working days.
6. Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item (for example, for a different print or color), we recommend visiting us in-store. If you are shopping online, the fastest way to get what you want is to return the original item for a refund and make a separate purchase for the new item.
7. Damaged or Faulty Goods
We take great care in curating and packing our products, but if something arrives damaged or is faulty, we want to make it right. Please contact us within 48 hours of receiving a damaged item at brighton@ldbrighton.com with a photo of the damage, and we will arrange a replacement or full refund (including shipping costs).
